Control-C now offers a one-off backup service, which means that you can request a backup of your data on a one-time basis. This service is ideal for customers who may not need ongoing backup services but still want to ensure that their data is safe and secure.
When you use our one-off backup service, it's important to note that the data we provide you with will only be available for 14 days. This means that if you don't download and store the backup within that time frame, you won't be able to access it after the 14-day period has expired.
The reason for this is that we have limited storage capacity, and we need to ensure that our resources are available for all of our customers. By setting a time limit on the availability of one-off backups, we can ensure that our storage capacity is used efficiently and effectively.
To get started simply follow the steps below:
1. In the registration page, select the One-off Backup when asked which plan:
2. Once you have already setup your account and already have a dataset that is ready for download, simply select which dataset you need and it will redirect you to a checkout portal which will ask for the payment for the backup
3. Once the payment is processed, it will redirect you back to the dataset page and the download should automatically begin.
