In this article, we will discuss on how Control-C presents the overall summary of the backups, organisations status, etc. in easiest way possible. 



  1. Logged In User - Shows the user currently logged in. Hover on the region to get more options.
    • If hovered, these options will pop-up
  2.  Navigation Bar - Collection of links to pages that helps users traverse the Control-C portal.
    • NOTE: Separate articles on each links are provided which you can look up here 
  3. Current Dataset - Indicates what dataset the user currently viewing. It allows users to traverse to different datasets to see changes made to e.g. transactions, invoices, contact details, etc.
  4. Current Organisation Menu - Tells the user which current organisation dataset he/she currently looking up to. Also —  if a user has multiple organisations — allows the user to select which organisations he/she wants to view.
  5. Overall Summary - The main part of the dashboard. It includes, the error summary, overall summary of the backup, active organisations and the current backup progress. On its side indicates the latest backup for the selected organisation and at the bottom of the page (8) is its progress.
  6. Backup Health of the Organisations A quick comparison of the number of organisations that completed the backup over the failed ones.
  7. Error Summary - Control-C provides the user which organisations are not taking up backup due to a certain error. There are 4 types of error that are being shown in the portal:
    • Disabled - Organisation's Xero Integration is disabled or disconnected. 
    • Disallowed - Taking up of datasets has been turned off. 
    • No Backup Library yet - No backup has been performed yet or no dataset has been generated.

  8. Current Backup Progress 
    1. Tells where the backup is currently e.g. Invoices, Bank Transactions, etc. if hovered it also shows how many items/records have already been save. If all the dots are green, the current backup has already finished.
    2. Control-C's backup process is divided into three parts: Accounting data, Attachments and Journals. It tells where the current backup is. If all boxes are filled with color green, backup of the 3 major data are completed.
